"Sensuous Silence"
Gray and desolate
Forming feelings of deep despair,
Mixed with unobtrusive emotions,
Flat…
Flat but lumpy; smooth but bumpy.
Shadows appear in the distance,
Shadows which form gray tears;
Tears of Desolation.
With 5 cups of loneliness, add
2 tablespoons of deferred hope.
In the midst, black and white
Images are painted. These images seem to
Merely exist, as if it’s just a vapor
In the midst of a tumultuous thunderstorm.
Sounds of crackling fill the sky. Bolts
Of lightening light the sky for brief
Time intervals, shedding light on
The distorted shadows which lies beneath.
Shadows without form.
As the clouds add emotion to the sky,
It continues to elicit feelings of sadness,
Silently sprinkling 3 tablespoons of sorrow.
But there appears to be form of some sort.
These gray sand dunes make its own
Shapes, as if to disturb the grey emotions,
And bring a small speck of vitality. It
Seems it’s unsuccessful, as the atmosphere
Still does appear to be … Gray.
As it evokes sensuous emotions of
Secluded silence … Sensually silent.

"The Silent Song Bird".........
Below is a poem I have written twenty minutes ago. I turned my
computer on and started writing. This is what came about:
Perplexed by the idea of stagnation:
Waiting, but seems nothing is happening fast enough. It’s
As if life has stood still; caught in its secluded time
Capsule. I want to free life; I want to open the capsule door,
But I am without the key.
The key is kept away, locked; in a place I have no idea.
This key is held tightly, held closely, near the heart of God.
God has this key and when He is ready, He will release the
Key to open the capsule, to set life free.
Freedom. Freedom. Freedom is what the silent song
Bird sings. The song bird is silent, but sings simultaneously.
The silent song bird is what it’s called. Silent because….
Because the song bird is without words. Speechless.
Transitioning from a place of isolation and bareness, to
A place of vitality and energy. The song bird is caged, trapped.
Trapped within the realms of stagnation. Stagnate because
The song bird is in a place of preparation.
Preparing to take flight. To soar the skies and see what life
Will reveal to it. But the bird is unable to take flight because
Life is still enslaved to captivity, trapped in its capsule. The
Capsule that only God has the key to.
But when God releases life from its capsule, life will be renewed.
All that life has been waiting for will soon be exposed, ready
To be obtained. The song bird and life are intertwined, feeling
One another: intimately.
So now the song bird sings. It flies freely. No longer is this
Bird silent, but now the bird sings harmoniously. It sings
Tunes that only life can decipher, tunes that only life can
Decode.
